Annual Report 2021 & Bondholder Interest Payment

Our community solar array continues to perform well and generate revenue to benefit the community. Over the course of the year, the solar farm generation exceeded its projections by 16%.

In the first week of the March 2020 lockdown, Gawcott Solar organised a £14,000 Corona Crisis Fund to support local community organisations facing hardship in these challenging times. Over the year funds have been distributed to Buckingham Food Bank for emergency food packages, schools to support home learning for disadvantaged pupils, and Buckingham Young Carers.

We have also continued to support our energy advice service, provided through the National Energy Foundation (NEF), which has adapted to deal with the added strain that the pandemic has brought to households struggling with fuel poverty.

Bondholder interest payments up to date

This year’s interest payments to our solar bondholders were made on 11th February 2021. Interest was paid at 6.55% for the year to 31st December 2020. Bondholders should have received a notification email from our registrars Ethex on the same day.
