The Directors of Gawcott Fields Community Solar Project CIC (“Gawcott Solar CIC”) are pleased to present the second annual report to bondholders.
The Gawcott Fields community solar farm has been generating electricity and income from the sun since June 2016. Our construction and maintenance contractors Pfalz Solar have done a great job and the solar farm has performed well to date.
The energy and fuel poverty advice service which we support is into its second winter and has helped local households save over £250,000. The community grant fund, which had a ‘local sports’ theme in its first year has made £15,000 of awards to local community organisations.

Buckingham Golf Club marks one year of green energy with solar installation
Last spring we rolled out further rooftop solar schemes across two more sports clubs in our local community. The first of these was Buckingham Golf Club, which is now celebrating one year of clean, renewable energy. A year on, the project is proving to be a win for the club and its finances, the environment and the local community.
