Gabby Mallett

Gabby is an independent consultant working in the energy sector. Currently she chairs the Customer Panel for National Grid Energy Distribution, which is a representative body of stakeholders designed to offer high level advice and oversight to the UKs largest electricity distribution Network. Gabby was previously Operations Director at the energy charity the National Energy Foundation, where she worked to improve the use of energy in buildings. She has extensive experience with renewable energy, community energy, energy efficiency and fuel poverty. Prior to this Gabby worked for both BUPA and the NHS and has specialist knowledge of the impacts of poor housing on health.

Gabby has lived in Buckingham for 22 years, has previously acted as chair of both the PTA at Grenville combined school and Buckingham Swans Swimming Club, sat on the general committee of Buckingham Rugby Club and continues to be actively involved in the local community.

Gabby holds a BSc (hons) in Economics and a masters in Environment, policy and society from the Open University.
